Two days of uplifting live music from many different genres will include pop and rock to folk and blues via jazz, soul, UK hip-hop, bluegrass and classical Indian.
28 different acts will play 'for free, for fun, for everyone' in the spirit of our perennially successful celebration of live music over the weekend of 29/30 June, reflecting the diversity of styles that are a feature of all the events organised by Redbridge Green Fair Music Club and Redbridge Music Lounge, the two voluntary organisations whose continuing partnership is responsible for the Music Fest again this year.
Among the performers this year are cool jazz combo Indigo Shades, young indie-rock band Accidental Tourists, country bluegrass band The Spangles Gang, Latin-style soul trio River Bird, Spare Tyre percussion band, sitar/tabla duo Rimpy & Kuldeep, jazz/swing singer Bernice, eclectic instrumental duo Ten String Fever, songwriters Headspace, Al Neville, Sam Castell-Ward,TS-27, Lizzie B, Dread Fury, Rachael Silver and Mick Day, R&B covers band Blue Hearts, show tunes specialist Gabby Niman, 50's & 60's tribute band Cockney Treble, Americana bands New Giants and Jamie Williams & the Roots Collective, folk artists The Raven and Storm in a Teacup, young hip-hop crew Kid Unit, tribute band the Traveling Tilburys, classic rock covers band Rebound, and the next big star now enrolled at the prestigious Brit School, 16 year old singer/keyboard player Ryan Green, fulfilling all that promise that he first displayed at the Redbridge Midsummer Music Fest when he was just 11 years old!
