Come and celebrate London Tree Week by joining the Ranger for a wander around Claybury Woods. You'll learn all about the different trees that can be found in the woods as well as the wildlife that lives there.

Join us in the garden for an introduction to basic bushcraft skills. Daniel will be showing us how to build and light a fire, followed by some wild cooking (breadsticks with fresh herbs.) He'll also be teaching us about animal tracking, basic whittling and sun navigation.

The Cat in the Hat invites you to his interactive storytelling show. Take part in a fun, fast-paced game based around your favourite Dr. Seuss characters. Our story builder will enthral you with The Cat in the Hat story, and you might even get the chance to dress up as Thing 1 and Thing 2. After the show, don't miss your chance for a photo with the Cat in his incredible car.

Fancy dress competition - best dressed character! Upload your picture onto our Culture Team's Facebook page and the winner will receive tickets to a family show at Redbridge Drama Centre during June.

This is Neil's local patch and he will show us the areas where he regularly walks to see what is about.

Please contact us to provide your details so we can tell you of any late changes (and to make sure we do not have too many people on the walk).

For all outings we advise strong waterproof footwear and warm waterproof clothing plus, of course, binoculars.

Please note the earlier start time of 8.30am - it should give us a better chance of finding the birds!
